Good Night Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Tonight, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the families, friends, and co-workers of the fallen officers in Virginia Beach. Lord, we ask that You wrap them in Your unfailing love, bringing them comfort in their sorrow, strength in their weakness, and peace in the midst of their pain. May they feel Your presence and know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

Father, I also pray for the protection of my loved ones—my family, my friends, and my co-workers. Keep them safe in their comings and goings, shielding them from harm and surrounding them with Your angels (Psalm 91:11). Let them walk in wisdom and discernment, always guided by Your hand.

As we lay down to rest, Lord, grant us peace. Remove any worries or anxieties from our hearts, and let us find true rest in You. For You are our refuge and strength, a present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). May we wake up refreshed and renewed, ready to serve You with joy.

Good Night Message

As you close your eyes tonight, remember this promise from God:

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." – Isaiah 41:10

No matter the burdens of today, trust that God is in control. His love is unshaken, His grace is sufficient, and His mercy is new every morning.

To the families and friends mourning tonight, know that you are not alone. God is with you in your sorrow, holding you close. And to all my loved ones, may the Lord protect and bless you as you sleep, filling your hearts with His peace.

Rest well in His love.
